What is Notion?

Notion is a flexible workspace for notes, docs, wikis and databases, and you should not wait for Black Friday to buy it. We found no verified Notion Black Friday deal in 2025. The only standing discount is annual billing, which costs less per month than paying monthly on the paid plans.

For many people the free plan is enough. Individuals can build a full personal system without paying. The paid Plus and Business plans matter when you collaborate with a team and need more guests, history and admin controls.

Who it suits

Teams that want their docs, wiki and task boards in one place, and individuals who enjoy building their own systems. It is not for someone who wants a simple to-do list that works out of the box. Todoist or Apple Reminders will feel faster.

Per-seat pricing adds up. A ten-person team pays ten times the listed rate, so check whether every member truly needs a paid seat or can work as a guest.

  • No Black Friday sale on record.
  • Annual billing is the reliable saving.
  • Start on the free plan and upgrade later.
