Workload units are the real price

Bubble meters one thing: workload units (WU), covering the server work to host and run your app. Web and mobile apps in one project share a single total. Starter ($59/month, billed annually) includes 175K WU, Growth ($209) 250K and Team ($549) 500K. You can disable overages to cap spending, and alerts fire at 75% and 100% of your allowance. Savings of up to 20% apply for annual billing, so monthly billing costs more.

Who should skip it

Skip it if you need to export code or expect heavy traffic on a tight budget; costs scale with usage. For a quick validation, the free plan and Starter are cheap to try.

Decision rule: build the prototype on the free plan, then go Starter only when you have real users.
