What the pricing looks like

Cloudways' pricing page lists the cheapest DigitalOcean plans, Micro and Small, at $11 a month ($0.0357 an hour) with 2 GB RAM, 1 vCPU, 50 GB storage and 2 TB transfer. Flexible billing is hourly and billed in arrears, with invoices issued in the first week of the next month. Extra DigitalOcean bandwidth costs $0.02 per GB.

One more point on cost: the $11 entry server is enough for a small WordPress site, but busy stores will move up the size ladder and the bill scales with it. Price the server you will actually need, not the cheapest one on the page.
