What is Divi (Elegant Themes)?

What Divi is

Divi is a WordPress theme and visual builder from Elegant Themes. Its selling point is that one licence covers unlimited websites, which is why freelancers and agencies buy it. Developers who prefer lean markup, and people building a single personal blog, will find it more than they need.

Pricing: yearly, lifetime and Pro

The official page lists Divi Yearly at $89 per year with support, and Divi Lifetime at $249 once, covering Divi and Divi Dash. Divi Pro Yearly is $277 per year and bundles Divi AI, Divi Cloud, Divi VIP and Divi Teams. Divi Pro Lifetime is $297 once for Divi and Divi Dash, but the Pro services still bill at $212 per year.

That last line is the trap. A 'lifetime' Pro does not remove the yearly cost of the services bundled in it.

Refund and licence terms

A 30-day no-questions-asked refund is advertised. There is no site limit and no per-site charge.

Black Friday history

Elegant Themes sells hard in November. In 2023 WebsiteRating reported up to 60% off, with yearly at $50.25 and lifetime at $140.25, starting 21 November. The 2024 sale began 26 November 2024 and ran through 1 December; third parties quoted 73 to 76% off, while the official post gave no percentage, so we list it as unknown. In 2025 Elegant Themes advertised up to 80% off Divi Pro, applied automatically with no code.

Yearly or lifetime?

Lifetime at $249 equals under three years of the $89 plan. Pick it if you will build with Divi that long.

Decision rule: wait for the November sale if you are not in a hurry, then take Lifetime if you build client sites, or Yearly if you are testing the fit.
