  3. Buy before the sale ends around Cyber Monday

What is GeneratePress?

GeneratePress is a lightweight WordPress theme for developers and bloggers who care about page speed. GP One, the paid bundle, suits people who build several sites and want the premium theme modules plus a block toolkit. If the free theme is enough, there is nothing to buy.

What GP One includes

GP One is a single plan bundling GP Premium, GenerateBlocks Pro, GenerateCloud, and GeneratePress AI, listed as coming soon, plus future products. Individual products can no longer be bought on their own. Priority email support is included; the free theme and GenerateBlocks are supported on the WordPress.org forums.

Current pricing

As of October 2026 the pricing page lists $99 a year for 1 site, $149 for 10 sites, $199 for 100 sites, and a lifetime licence at $596 for 100 sites. Yearly plans auto-renew and you can cancel any time. Client sites count toward the limit, local and staging sites do not. Refunds are available within 30 days.

Existing GP Premium or GenerateBlocks Pro licences keep working, and you can upgrade from your account, paying the difference with credit for remaining time.

What the Black Friday sale did

In 2025 GP One was reported at $99 a year instead of $149, about a third off, ending December 1, with the discount applied automatically and no coupon. Since the current page now shows $99 for one site, check which tier the sale applied to before assuming a 2026 saving. We found no reliable 2023 or 2024 figures.

Who should skip it

Fans of visual drag-and-drop builders should look elsewhere: GeneratePress works with the block editor and its own GenerateBlocks. Lifetime at $596 only makes sense for agencies running many sites for years.

Decision rule: take the 1-site plan for a single serious project, the 10-site plan if you build for clients, and skip lifetime unless you are an agency.
