What is McAfee?

McAfee sells Total Protection antivirus and the broader McAfee+ suites. On Black Friday the 2-year plans get the biggest cut, so the deal suits people who want antivirus for the long haul and do not mind paying for two years at once.

In 2025 McAfee offered up to 65-67% off 2-year plans and 45-55% off 1-year plans. The gap between those two ranges is the real decision. A 1-year plan at around half off keeps you flexible. A 2-year plan saves more per year but ties you in.
